Dr. Keith DuVerney
DC

Dr. Keith DuVerney’s chiropractic philosophy has always been that by helping others we improve ourselves, by providing the body with proper building blocks, removing toxins, and keeping the spine and mind aligned for everyone, we help them live life to the fullest.

Dr. DuVerney brings to the practice over twenty years of Chiropractic experience treating entire families starting at a mere two weeks of age. He has also treated: professional athletics, weekend warriors, pregnant women, and people as mature as 92 years of age. He is versed in many Chiropractic Techniques, Nutritional counseling, and soft tissue treatments.

Dr. DuVerney grew up on Long Island, New York; where he played and excelled in many sports. His accomplishments include being a world ranked Olympic weightlifter, as well as winning the exclusive title of Mr. New York (Body Building). He played Semi Pro Football in Texas. Dr. DuVerney has appeared on PBS several times, speaking on alternative treatments for Autism and Children’s wellness. He is the Sports Doctor for many professional athletes. A speaker on nutrition and health, he is currently writing a book on nutrition and health. He sat on the board of two children’s organizations.

Dr. DuVerney’s’ interest in chiropractic was fueled by his own experiences. While at Texas A&M he was squatting with 750 pounds, when one of his sneakers blew out the air cushion in the heel, which suddenly torqued his body, causing him to herniate 3 lumbar discs. He was taken to the hospital, where he was told he would need a fusion in his back and would never be able to lift weights again. A friend convinced Dr. DuVerney to see his chiropractor prior to the fusion. Dr. DuVerney decided to take the advice and was treated by a chiropractor for about three hours and noticed an improvement that day. Over time, he had a remarkable recovery.

Dr. DuVerney has a B.S. in Biology/Chemistry from Texas A&M and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College. Dr. DuVerney is a veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force.
